There are some vacancies on the committee that require filling to alleviate stress put on the current position holders in the undertaking of several roles. A brief description for each portfolio is as follows:
Executive positions
:-
Secretary - Taking minutes, updating forms and dealing with inward and outward correspondence
Treasurer - Banking Centre's proceeds, paying accounts and entering transactions in MYOB program
Registrar - Distributing registration material and collecting fees on behalf on the Centre and the Tasmanian Little Athletics Association
General positions
:-
Arena Manager - In charge of scheduling events on competition day to a respectable time frame
Announcer - Announcing events and special messages to our members
Publicity Officer - Maintaining Centre's website, and writing and distributing fortnightly newsletters and newspaper articles
Sponsorship Officer - Organising sponsorship
Championships & Special Events Officer - Informing athletes and parents of their responsibilities and events for State competitions, Centre Championships and carnivals
Canteen Manager - Ordering stock and managing canteen on competition days

Registration Fees are normally finalised at the Tasmanian Little Athletics Association's Board Conference in July.
The Centre's Competition Dates will not be finalised for the 2010 / 2011 season until late August / early September.
